Placebo sweet spot for pain relief identified in brain

In a first, Scientists have identified for brain region responsible for the 'Placebo effect' in pain relief.Scientists found that the mid frontal gyrus area in brain identifies placebo, a harmless pill made up of inert substances like sugar or starch, which results in substantial reduction of pain. This could aid desigining of personalised medicine for chronic pain.
