Twitter to cut 9% of workforce to become profitable in 2017


Micro-blogging platform Twitter on Thursday said it would cut 9% of its global workforce, nearly 350 employees, to keep costs down and achieve its goal of attaining profitability in 2017. The company, led by Co-founder Jack Dorsey, reported an 8% rise in revenue for the quarter ended September to$616 million and a 3% rise in user base
